Two extra care schemes of different styles completed |
||
We are pleased to announce that our thirty-four flat extra care scheme in the garden suburb of Merton Park developed by Housing 21 has recently been completed and has been very well received. This is particularly pleasing following the difficult planning restrictions that needed to be overcome to build in this conservation area on the site of a Grade II listed building. All the shared ownership units have already been reserved for sale subject to contract. Also completed on site in April was our seventy-six unit extra care scheme developed by Hanover in partnership with Brighton and Hove. This building is amongst the first to be completed in a new 'tall buildings corridor' which forms part of Brighton and Hove's planning policy and is proving to be an attractive addition to the street scene near Brighton sea front. Environmental concerns have been given major consideration in this design which employs a Combined Heat and Power system. |
